Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight/time of flight (MALDI ToF/ToF)

The 4800 MALDI ToF/ToF™ Analyzer can be used for high-throughput proteomics research. The system can identify proteins by determining accurate masses of peptides formed by enzymatic digestion. Additionally, the system can more definitively identify and characterize proteins by isolating and fragmenting a molecular ion of interest and measuring the fragment ion masses.

iCE3

iCE3’s 10-minute start to finish runs with the HT Cartridge lets users optimize charge heterogeneity method conditions in an afternoon. It is also possible to use the same platform method for multiple molecules—no need for product-specific methods. That means user can standardize platform methods across product development and QC.

Octet QKe

The Octet QKe system is configured for eight-channel parallel analysis, enabling operators to increase throughput and control different variables in parallel without increasing budget or headcount. It is specially designed for characterization of large molecules. With its enhanced sensitivity setting the system is ideal for measuring lower weight analytes, broadening the dynamic range for protein quantitation and kinetics.

The system also allows for the reracking and reuse of biosensors, enhancing flexibility when loading ligands and reducing the overall operational costs. The QKe can analyze crude samples taken directly from bioreactors or periplasmic preparations, minimizing sample preparation time and eliminating workflow delays.

Key benefits:

  • Large molecule oriented
  • Sensitivity and dynamic range for quantitation of proteins and peptides down to 5 kDa
  • High performance
  • Excellent signal resolution for measuring protein and peptide kinetics
  • Cost-sensitive
  • Re-racking of biosensors offers additional operational cost savings

UV-1900 UV-VIS Spectrophotometer

The UV-1900 UV-VIS spectrophotometer is equipped with an ultrafast scan function that enables data acquisition in 29,000 nm/min (it takes about three seconds to measure in visible region.), the fastest level in the industry. In addition, it can perform high-accuracy quantitative analysis.

High Pressure Liquid Chromatography

The Agilent 1260 Infinity II Bio-inert LC System is a dedicated solution for large bio-molecule analysis. The design of new metal-free components in the sample flow-path and the absence of iron and steel in solvent delivery ensures the integrity of bio-molecules, minimizes unwanted surface interactions and increases column life-time. This is ideal when working under harsh solvent or extreme pH conditions. The power range expands from lowest pressure for traditional bio-purification columns up to high pressure STM analytical bio-columns
